Where did you get your start as an online domme?
I started doing online domme sessions in 2017 after being shown the phone-sex website “Niteflirt” by my real-life girlfriend TristynJane. With her advice, I was able to build my listing and turn on my phone lines for the very first time. Since then, I’ve taken hundreds of calls, expanded to several platforms that include live-streaming, photos, mp3 files, videos and texting.
While she was the first to introduce me to the ins and outs of being a pro-domme, Tristyn wasn’t the first partner to introduce me to kink. I’ve been part of the lifestyle for over 10 years, however most of my experiences back then were actually as a submissive.
So you haven’t always been a dominant?
No, I haven’t. I moved around a lot during college, university and again after graduation. And I found that I shed off a little more of my submissive persona each time that I changed my surroundings and relationships.
I realized recently that I applied the ‘sub’ label to myself back then, not because I was naturally submissive, but rather because I didn’t feel like I was knowledgeable enough to hold any authority over someone else. After being left to feel frustrated by too many dominants, I realized that actually yes, I -can- do it better than they could, and I haven’t looked back.
Do you think that your past experiences help to inform your style of domination now?
Absolutely, I think they do. One of the biggest themes of my frustration as a sub was a lack of immersion. I found that whoever was leading the session would get hung up on some small detail which felt insignificant to me.
For example, I used to gravitate towards riggers because of the incredibly tactile nature of rope, but usually just ended up being bored while they fussed with hitches and flattened out wraps without engaging me. While the end result was pretty, I could have been a mannequin and the scene wouldn’t have changed in any way.
So now, I try my hardest to engage with the mind of my subs first and foremost, and let the physical sensations follow.
Is there a way you would try to classify your style of domination now?
I like to consider myself an “Optimistic Goddess”, which is mostly due to my affinity to bring us both into the same mindset during a scene. Putting a sub down to make myself feel superior isn’t what I’m about. I’d much rather lift someone up and encourage them, so that we can both leave a session feeling fulfilled.
That’s not to say that I can’t pull out a mean-streak of humiliation when someone approaches me looking for that, but rather that I’m going to hype them up into being the best fucking wreck that they can be.
Is there something that you thought you would like before trying it, but it turned out that you never want to do it again?
That’s tricky, especially because I set myself some pretty straightforward limits when I started out online and I’ve stuck to them. And I’m also limited in a way by the platforms that I use, because they all have strict code of conduct guidelines that I follow, so a lot of those areas are out of the question anyway.
In my personal kink life, I’d say that it’s definitely needles that I can’t stand after trying them. I used to admire all the beautiful patterns and get excited whenever someone would bring out a surgical stapler or something, but it’s best left as a fantasy for me. I’ve spent quite a lot of time around heavy RACK kinksters, but as soon as there’s skin puncturing, it’s over for me.
Do you have any role models who have influenced you?
Yes, definitely and in more areas than you might think.
AmberlyPSO is such an inspiration to me as a BBW model and I feel really lucky stumbling across her content at the moment that I did. I downloaded her book on Amazon when I was feeling overwhelmed and unsure if I should make the jump to making this my full-time career. Since then, I’ve watched her expand her reach, and generously give her time and advice on how to apply marketing strategies to our industry. She’s also an incredibly positive person who has an obvious passion for what she’s doing.
Bryan Gozzling of Hookup Hotshot has such a great vibe in his videos too. I think the approach to the scenes he films is really quite unique. I love seeing him actually checking in with his models who can end up doing some pretty intense shit for him. I love to watch him reinforcing his dominance through reassurance and praise because the smiles on the models’ faces always give away how much they’re enjoying themselves.
